Role in Le Atobe C&B: Late Night DJ
Backstory:
After his third year of middle school –moving on as Fudomine’s Tennis Team Captain, Kamio entered the corresponding all boy’s high school. However, his interest in tennis had slowly died, having been separated from the team he’d grown close to in his middle school tennis days. He and Ibu Shinji, an old doubles partner on the Fudomine team, however had long remained in contact, even after separation.
Still, Kamio had instantly grown bored with school life –easily finding himself gathering with the wrong crowd at the school, and fell into a class of juvenile delinquents. Though most of his delinquency came into smoking, constant fighting and numerous accounts of vandalism and trouble with the authorities, Kamio had decided to drop out of school during his senior year to work part time and move away from his worrisome parents.
Constantly losing his jobs through disagreements with managers or employees, by 20 Kamio found himself eligible to work at a night club, becoming a DJ and making underground remixes to popular songs in both Japan, Europe and America. With the mixture of music genres, Metal, to Rock, to Hip Hop and Electronica, he was soon scouted by an American man, who went by the name of Johnny.
Though the man had been quite shady to the locals, his promise to make Kamio big, and more popular with the Japanese, but also in America, brought the youth to contract himself to work with the man –soon dragged to America, and more particularly, Los Angeles.
Years he spent learning the language, forsaking his Japanese completely, and resting in the club culture of the overseas country, and lost contact with old friends –slowly losing his path. Despite the exhilaration of working in a field he enjoyed, music and entertainment, the time had became a hazy, grayed out area in his life, from climax to falling action, as he became involved with things even he himself would admit to not being able to handle, nor had he wanted to be further involved with.
However upon checking his phone, alone in the apartment he resided in, ignoring the loud fights of the next door couples, he came upon a voice mail from Shinji, and driven to running from the frightening lifestyle that caused his life to fall downhill, he wordlessly caught a plane ticket to Japan, hoping to escape and find a better life in the place he hoped he would know better…
